.hack//Roots Rewatch: Episode 13 "Tragedy" Discussion

Last week, the Brigade had more arguments than a typical episode of Survivor. Frustrated, Sakisaka and Tabby left the guild, leaving Haseo alone again. B-Set told Phyllo that she was quitting the game and asked Haseo to support Shino. Shino vowed to wait for Ovan instead of running away, and disbanded the Twilight Brigade.

This week, Sakisaka and Tabby form their own guild, but it doesn't last long. Bored, Sakisaka takes up his IRL friends on the offer to play Riot Gun with them, and quits The World. He invites Tabby to join him, but Tabby chooses to stay in order to support Shino. Tabby talks with Shino, but gets interrupted by some strange flickering in the game. Shino then tells her she has to go to the cathedral and runs off. Tabby alerts Haseo, who is currently confronting the Asta and IYOTEN, the players who killed him back when he had just started. Haseo rushes to the cathedral and witnesses Shino's death as a mysterious figure warps away. As Shino's character disappears, her player in the real world falls into a coma, becoming a Lost One.
