My Brain Is Trying To Prevent Me From Lucid Dreaming?

Hello, I am 17 years old and by no means an expert lucid dreamer, but at least 3 or 4 times a week I get sleep paralysis and turn it into a lucid dream. I do this by kind of rolling my mind out of my body and entering a dream form in my room. However, in order for me to have any sort of control over my dream I need to exit my house, which is seeming to get more and more difficult. Sometimes the stairs to our entryway break out from under me, and the front door always has some sort of lock (or lockS) I need to open. Often I will also sense an ominous presence chasing me, and need to rush to get outside. While I have never been entirely prevented from entering my dreamscape, this is getting increasingly stressful, and was wondering if anyone else has dealt with something like this? Also, sometimes when I do make it outside there are other obstacles such as turrets or bombs attacking me (Though once outside I have much more control, and can usually ignore/erase these.) Does Anyone have any advice for handling this?
