Drums and sounds

Alright so I find myself using for more than. Anything but I seriously can't stand sytrus GM's and all the other stock plugins. Personally to me I feel like when I try to make a sound they just all sound the same.

Any ideas? I typically don't see people using the stock plugins imo. But I do see some.

Also, kicks I download from torrents and just can't find good packs.

Any help would be appreciated not for just me but newcomers as well. Thanks!
