Long Shot: I'm trying to remember a hiking trail I visited three years ago with my girlfriend
We are both from Hawaii and we visited the Anaheim/Los Angeles region for 4 days. This was in August 2014. I can only remember a few generic details about the trail, but figured I have nothing to lose by posting here.
The trail was highly elevated. We could see mountains as we hiked to the top.
There was a small circular seating area near the entrance of the trail. It may be used for things like nature talks or demonstrations.
There were deer, ferrets, and other small wildlife roaming freely along the trail.
The trail path went around in a loop. You started and came out by the entrance. The terrain was dirt, and lots of yellow/light brown brush and desert type plants.
We didn't have a car, we used Uber for getting there and leaving, but there was a small parking lot.
The trail is at the top of a long road, leading up to it is a nice, I would guess upper middle class neighborhood on both sides of the road.
On the ride back to our hotel, we passed a shopping plaza called Anaheim Hills Festival. I remember taking a nap and waking up and seeing the sign as we passed by.
I know this is a little odd, but any help is appreciated.
