When unhappy with life, living it in a complete unchanging routine is the worst thing you can do.
Of course a general routine like meal time, waking up, shower, exercising regularly, etc are all important but I realized today after doing things I don't often do, is that keeping things the same when you aren't happy aren't helpful to you at all. At the very least giving other things a fair chance raises your chances of finding companions, getting different perspectives of life, finding a new interest, and at the very least, giving you a break from the dreadful cycle.
Of course you can't change some things that easily like a job, where you live, if you have an addiction, etc, but you can still possibly work towards changing them eventually, and maybe by changing other parts of your life it can make things suck less.
Rereading this, it seems I'm basically just saying to try new things, and I can't really say that isn't the jist of it, but I wanna highlight that keeping yourself in the same dreadful routine just isn't a good idea.
And of course you can't expect an overall difference right away, and I don't think changing everything at once is good either. I just think that changing things raises your chances of escaping the hell you inhabit.
Sorry this sounds like normie BS, but after being complete NEET for 5 years ,I've realized i can't sit around in my despair and hope things get better.
