No show affects new streak bonus

Tonight, I was at four out of five rides for the $25 streak bonus. I got a request for a fifth ride without the little guy next to the pin on the map. After five minutes of waiting, I called the pax to see where they were. Of course it was a pax calling a ride for someone else. They asked if I could go knock on the door. I went ahead and did it as a courtesy. After five minutes of waiting after knocking, listening to their dogs barking, no one came to the door. I left and hit no show. After about thirty seconds, the meter for the streak bonus went away. I figured that it wouldn’t affect the bonus since it was out of my hands and I can’t wait around, especially on a busy Friday night. I called Lyft support and they basically beat around the bush about it. Just wanted to give you guys a heads up.
