Why X School Supplement
So I've heard that you should be detailed when writing these supplements to show that you've done enough research on a school. I've finished the Why NYU supplement a while ago and I'm wondering it's too vague. I am applying for CAS English Literature, and the main idea is that I am a firm believer of how knowledge is best absorbed when connected to our daily lives. Then I wrote about NYU boasts this asset with courses that can tie literature to ourselves. Then I went into a discussion and talked about how I cherish literature due to the compassion that can be shown through words, and gave some examples of how I learned this lesson and that I think NYU is the best place for me to improve this. I was wondering if I should mention some course names to prove my point, or if that would be unnecessary. Please tell me what you think!
