Anyone been to Denali in Dec?

Hi. I have time to kill in Dec and wanted to finally visit AK. I was thinking about just flying into Fairbanks and renting a 4x4 for the duration. I have 2 to 3 weeks to burn up there. and can do whatever i like. Wanted to do some car camping in the park while I was there if its possible. Maybe some day hikes. Should be good on gear.. I have a good 3 season tent, - 20 WM bag and a high rated sleeping pad. Also heavy layers to use with goretex bib pants and insulated down parka. gloves, hats etc.

Do people go car camp there that time of year? It looks like one site by main gate is open year round. Anyone know about logistics for food, water, gas etc? Any suggestions for specific lodges, or activities? I will be by myself the whole time so I need to stay busy.
