Some questions about Coil (Worm Spoilers)

So... Coil huh?

I was listening to the We've Got Worm podcast's first Mailbag episode, and they were pondering how to use/abuse Coil's power IRL. As I understand it, Coil's power is more of a Very Thorough Thought Experiment then a creator of alternate timelines, but that made me wonder...

1; If Coil's mental state is effected by an alternate universe, do the effects carry over to the one he decides on? If he sleeps all night in one reality, can he bring the rested feeling over to the other? What if he's drugged, or gets concussed? His bodies aren't effected by each other, but he seems to have only one mind, so...

2; Can Coil be distracted by the events in one reality and lose focus on the other? Or does he have a Management-based Thinker sub-power like Skitter's Multitasking that allows him to devote equal focus to both?

3; Could Coil use his powers to mess with the results of trigger events? As I understand it Shards have very broad concepts at first, like "Master Power" or "Projection Power" that are then informed and edited by the circumstance of their trigger, so once Coil had determined that someone could trigger, could he continuously collapse and create worlds and force additional triggers until he got a power he liked from the cape? Or would the backlash of the Entity-Memories force him to collapse his realities? If not, since the Shards are 4+ dimensions, would they cause the alternate reality version of the cape to also trigger, being connected to both at once?
