Anyone read 'The Machine' by James Smythe?

I just finished this book and it completely blew my mind! I actually only bought it because it was in a buy one, get one half price deal and I thought it looked okay but it was excellent! Such an amazing ending and a great atmosphere throughout. Has anyone else read and enjoyed it? Are his other books worth a look too?
