Destiny 2 has a lot of potential, is Bungie takimg feedback from this subreddit?
There's a thing to me even more essential than social features or fixing the endgame. It's about expansions. This kind of game is really asking for a long life, with polished content, granting some sort of sense that that you currently achieve won't be in vain if they release Destiny 3, or they just let the series die.
If Bungie takes care of the game appropriately, I wouldn't mind buying expansions regularly, but all we know now is that this season pass has got 2 expansions, and that's all. Is there a chance this game could live for a longer while?
Under that premise of longevity there would be a point to include these things that are missing that many of us consider basic, retune the AI so it's smarter and deadlier (difficulty settings maybe?), and maybe even find a way so hardcore players and casual ones can enjoy this game at the same time. I am biased to say that this MMO should lean towards the hardcore side because that's what I would enjoy, but it maybe would make some casual players' journey less joyful. I think this is something to take into account and there must be a solution that pleases both groups.
Either way, I have been playing for a bit on PC and I want to commend Bungie for making such a beautiful game, and I'd like to invite them to treat it with care, as far as economically doable.
Thank you.
