Mining but with no payout... advice needed

Ok, so from the last post I figured out that I'm actually mining vertcoin... up to a point. Problem is that after some time I stop getting yess!! and booo and miner just shows my hashrate with nothing else happening. Been doing this for the last week or so and still haven't seen any payout. What am I doing wrong? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
