I met a legend yesterday

I work at a hotel front desk. Yesterday I was helping two women with directions when I saw a guy coming in the front door. It was Football/Championship Manager legend Jonas Lundén!

Now sure, we're from the same country so it's not THAT strange to see him there and I've seen him play a lot of times... but I couldn't help but saying something.

My collegue, a teenage girl, was going to help him check in and she welcomed him and asked for his name and after he said it I jokingly said "Really? Don't you know who s is?! He is a Football Manager legend!" and he laughed and said "Yeah I heard I was pretty good in the 01/02 game" and I said "You were one of my favourite players when I was a teenager because of that" and he really seemed to have a good sense of humour about it and said "Yeah, well I wasn't THAT good in real life though!" and he laughed added "I hear that people are still tweeting about me!".

They say you shouldn't meet you heroes but this guy was really nice. I think he's not feeling too bad about being "the guy that was really good in that computer game but only had an alright career in real life". From what I understand he owns a comany now that's doing pretty well and he's looks tells you that this man is making money and is taking good care of himself!
