Which CPU currently works the best ?

I've been researching vfio for quite a while now, and I'm pretty sure I understand the process. What I'm still unsure about is which CPU will work the best. Is Ryzen at the point where it's usable now ?

Should I get a Ryzen CPU, a 7700k or a 7600k ?
