[HELP] Trying to open an Essential Graphics template in Premiere Pro

Help

So I made some Essential Graphics templates in After Effects on my work PC, that I have imported to use in Premiere Pro on that PC.

I also edit quite a bit on my Macbook Air, and so I'm wondering how to install the .MOGRT files on my Mac. I have copied them into the Essential Graphics folder in the app, but I still get a message saying "This motion graphics template was created in After Effects. To use this template in Premiere Pro, please install After Effects (trial or license) and retry. Learn more: adobe.com/go/mgmt".

I have After Effects on the same license and installed on the Mac too.

I think this is the problem here, and I have tried it but to no avail. Now it's entirely possible that I've misunderstood setting the Conformed Media Cache here, but if somebody was able to advise on the best action, I'd be very, very grateful.

EDIT (Specs): Operating system: OS X El Capitan

Software version: Premiere Pro CC 2017.1.02 v11.0 Oasis

System specs: Intel i7 processor, 8 GB RAM, Intel HD Graphics 5000
