Accidental game mode discovery - anyone else done this?

It was a solo standard game. Diamond 1 level. Salt aplenty. One of the opposite team starts throwing the game less than 15 seconds in. He starts purposely own-goaling and aggroing his teammates.

It became like 6-0 to us pretty quickly but we had a lot of the game to go and being the wonderful specimen that they were, the trolling teammate refused to forfeit releasing the other players from their inevitably lost game.

That’s when my teammates and I decided to defend both goals to help the other team to make the time pass faster.

In the end it was 5v1 where the troll would try and score and the rest of us were blocking with the intent of ending the game rather than prolonging it.

Has anyone else done this/had this happen to them? It was quite fun actually!
