Randomly kicked from the Abyss (Yokai Realm with companion)

I've been trying to look for more information on this and even solutions but no luck so thought I'd create a post!

I've been trying to help a buddy of mine progress through the Abyss, being a visitor is fine but Yokai Realm with a companion has caused us issues - seems to happen all the time.

Last week, we were doing co-op via Yokai Realm and after two or three floors we were both kicked mid-boss fight and then presented with the results screen rewarding us with the usual amrita, glory and defiled items.

The next day we had another session but this time I was kicked after a couple of floors, we took down the boss, I then got a blank screen, no sound - nothing! I had to close application and restart, once loaded in I was at the main map screen with progress reset leaving me in the state JUST before starting the session.

Strange thing also is that my friend wasn't kicked, left the Abyss and was presented with the results screen detailing his rewards. He said that my character was running on the spot and he couldn't proceed as the game was waiting for me to proceed?! I didn't get any of that just a blank screen!

Has this happened to anybody else? If so, any solutions or is visiting my only reliable Abyss co-op?

Thanks fellow Yokai slayers! ;):)
