What is the best book or couple of books to read on the War on Drugs?

This may or may not be the right sub to post on but I’m having a bit of difficulty finding a highly recommended book on the War on Drugs. Articles abound, especially concerning Portugal recently, but I’d like to learn even more, especially in the context of the US or worldwide as a whole. Thanks in advance!
