When Americans use MM/DD instead of DD/MM on the internet

Annoys me to no end... Everyone is talking English on the web so that we can all communicate, then the US is the ONLY country using MM/DD/YYYY and the rest of the world uses DD/MM/YYYY but they just don't care. It annoys the shit out of me because thats like everyone talking in their own language on the web, it so stupid.
