OG Pixel XL or Oneplus 5

So i am a student on a budget and have found a used 32gb pixel XL in good condition $340. I can also get a new Oneplus 5 for $475.

What do you think is a better deal if i plan to use the phone for the next 1-1.5 year.

If you recommend the pixel XL, how has your phone held up over the past year. My main concern is the battery life and fluidity.
