Ethical suggestion Barrier bypass?

I'm a little more than halfway through "Reality is Plastic" and have lurked on this sub for a couple days now. I'm trying to pick up hypnosis in order to offer hypno-therapy to my wife. None of this is relevant to the question, I just wanted you to know from where I come from in asking this question.

In his book, Anthony explains the difference between imaginary suggestions, and belief oriented suggestions. Don't imagine I'm Donald Trump, believe I am Donald Trump. My question is then, can this manipulation of beliefs be used to get someone to do something they would generally find unethical, except in specific circumstances.

For example, have the subject believe you are the business owner of their place of employment, and then have them tell you the key combo for the alarm system. If you asked them straight out to tell you such information, they would certainly never do it, but now that they believe it's okay because you've altered their belief of who you are, they won't have that ethical contradiction. Anthony gave the example of getting a police officer to drive you around town. Surely he'd never do that for a citizen, but Anthony claims that if you make him believe you're his Supervising officer, or the prime minister, the request becomes plausible.

I keep seeing people claim that hypnosis cannot make the subject violate their own will or ethics, but this methodology seems to contradict that. Thoughts?
