Can all eggs at the end of Phase 2 be eliminated like the one shot spiders? These spiders can still attack you...

If you're not using melee you can still kill them by standing against the wall near the spider webs in your picture.

Yep. You can also easily tell because if they can hit you, you can hit them back.
Also works on 4th phase, killing spiders that are still left from the 3rd one.

I believe its there as an Araxxi mechanic. When she does the egg spawn, she can pull existing spiders left from the encounter and they can be spawned in as different spiders during the final phase. The check is there for path 1 but doesn't really mean anything when path 1 is closed. I think this is why it's kept as is.

Changes like these are just unnecessary and a waste of dev time.

It's pretty uncommon for this to happen and you can easily move out of range. I don't see it as something that needs to be patched.
