You'd think Lusamine would be a better fit for yellow if she was still a villain, guess the leaks about her getting kidnapped were true. I hope they don't make her good from the outset though; that would just be lazy writing if Lillie was still forced to dress up as Nihilego.

She seems to be with the Ultra Recon Squad in a few images. Maybe at some point they cure her of Nihilego's neurotoxin. Possibly some time after Lillie flees Aether Paradise. That way she could have still been forced to dress that way and Lusamine can be not crazy.

Giovanni as indigo doesn’t really fit, but it’s (kind of) a redundant color anyway. I don’t see Ghetsis as green either, otherwise I think you’re on to something.
Also I believe colors/names of colors are a bit different in Japan so idk if they have ROYGBIV.

I remember it being blue but you might be right. Giovanni could represent black, being the absence of light (but that would be ironic since a rainbow is all colors).
