HOW CAN I PLAY BATTLEFIELD 2 AFTER THE REVIVE NETWORK SHUTDOWN?
The best way is the BF2Hub client: https://www.bf2hub.com/home/
If you had earned stats, ranks, etc on the Revive network chances these have been lost and you’ll have to start again. You may be able to save your old Gamespy era stats through BF2Hub though.
Note BF2Hub DOES NOT provide a BF2 game client download.
- If you installed BF2 from Revive then BF2Hub will patch your install.
- If you don't have BF2, you will need a used copy or download a copy from somewhere.
Another alternative is Gameranger, which is a more generic service for many games that lost online functionality from the Gamespy shutdown.
A final (recent) alternative is Red Clover Project, which appears to have come out of the South American community.

The vast majority of communities have moved to BF2Hub.
