Do we know where Earth is in relation to the Big Bang?

It's a common misconception that the Big Bang was an explosion in space. It was more an explosion of space. So nowhere in the universe is any closer to where the Big Bang occurred than any other place.

Yes we do. It's there. Everything is where the big bang happened, because the big bang didn't happen in space, it happened and created space.

The Big Bang, so far as we know, was the expansion of the space we are in. Everything is expanding away from everything else (on a universal scale). This can make every point feel like the 'epicenter'

Try not to think of the Big Bang as an explosion that occurred at a time in space. The Big Bang made time and space.

Of course my understanding is rudimentary. AskScience would be a good place the search.

Thanks kindly for the link! Good reading.

it didn't start in a single point in space so you can't track it down to "where it started"

Yeah it's pretty far away. Couple light years at least.
