The statline doesn't even mention his defense this game. Guards weren't even attempting to attack him on switches.

Jules, when we inevitably trade you because we have a shit front office, join dlo when your contract is up. Please

*had (only because of the MozDeng signings)

If only they were max/2 years instead :(

We have a shit front office? I love the direction we're headed in. Got a lot of young talent and they knocked it out of the park this draft.

He's coming off the bench because Kuzma at the moment looks to have the higher ceiling, I also think the Lakers are trying to tank his value so we can sign him for less

I think they're playing through him a lot and letting him showcase in shorter minutes to up his trade value. He's great in spurts. Big doses of Ju in less minutes, keeps him fresh and hungry.

I think it makes more sense to trade him than let him go for nothing this offseason.

TopLeafLakers•

you're probably right actually

TuneHD[LAL] Lonzo Ball•

That makes little sense. He'll demand a lot or try and force himself off if you screw him like that. We have too much talent at PF with potential for being good starting bigs that we have to try different guys out. I imagine we trade Randle and focus on Zo/Ingram/Kuzma as the core. Hope we can get Noel and PG or make a run for another SG if KCP doesn't work for us.

TopLeafLakers•

Noel is not the kind of guy you want on your team, I don't think PG is good enough to take any team pass the second round either so unless the Lakers were to use him just to show them what is needed to be a superstar ( they have Magic and Kobe who can show them this, I don't think he's worth dumping a max contract with and they should either try trade for young prospects that are being slept on or late draft picks and hope they can get another guy like Kuzma.

Edit: obviously get rid of that Deng contract aswell

TuneHD[LAL] Lonzo Ball•

How is PG not good enough? Dude took big 3 Heat to 7 games without another star player. I think people severely underrate PG. Zo/Ingram/PG/Kuzma/Noel if everyone pans out solidly well can be a scary team that can switch on everything and have the right level of usage for everyone to not have to do too much or too little.

Roy Hibbert was just as much a star as George back then. Danny Granger had lost his throne in Indiana, but Paul George isnt any instant finals machine

PG isn't a top 10 player anymore.

Nance, Randle and Kuzma all good. Nice headache to have for Luke Walton.

Off the bench too. Hope he signs somewhere that will give him the starter minutes he deserves.

think luke is hesitant to give him starter minutes because he played very lazy last season, especially on defense, and he is playing great as a back up five for us

Hope he signs somewhere

Yea I hope he's traded instead. I am hoping he can raise his value enough to dump Deng somehow. Its best for him and the Lakers. Any team willing to take Deng for Randle wants him bad, and he deserves to be in a place like that. Considering his history with lakers fans and Luke benching him when he outplayed Nance.

On top of that he will be demand too much money and he'll become too good for a backup role in 2-3years time. We have Kuzma, I love Randle but Nance is the backup that makes sense. He'll sign for far less, and he'll also continually improve his offense too.

I heard rumors the Lakers may wanna give him away for peanuts. We'll gladly take him.

If that Deng contract is considered peanuts lol

Deng and Randle for Kyrie thanks

Players like Thompson Randle and Faried will never have much success because they're too undersized.

says the one with cj mccollum as your starting shooting guard, for real though thats such a dumb generalization look at paul millsap and draymond green

Thompson was the starting center on a championship team gtfo

Pervy_Sensei[OKC] Paul George•

Zaza Pachulia was the starting center on a championship team too lol. I like TT but that doesn’t mean as much as you act like it does

32 mpg vs 13 mpg tho

Zaza is a solid player

No wonder Hakeem and Dwight's careers were doomed. Feel bad for Ben Wallace, if he was taller, maybe he could defend. If only Bill Russell grew a few inches, he could have won a chip. But forget about centers. If they had been blessed with height, Dennis Rodman and Charles Barkley could have gotten some rebounds.

owningypsie[LAL] Kareem Abdul-Jabbar•

Barkley played PF at 6'4"

6
SanduskysBoyfriendLakers•

Yep, almost won a championship as a 6'2" PF

6
EmNightShyamalanLakers•

Got into the hall of fame as a 5'11 PF

7

Amazing how he can dunk while being 4'7

Barkley's ass counts for at least 4 inches. GOAT butt
