How-to: Adjust your stepper driver voltage for optimal torque

Not my video but im going to make some pointers. Correct me if im wrong but it seems pretty much everyone is receiving boards where the voltage has not been matched to the motor properly. Both mine and my buddies were set to 11 o clock(i think, 800mah)
Why do you want to change this? One word. Torque. Especially on your extruder. That is a huge advantage with PETG and beyond. Thats a pretty big damn deal, just ask bondtech. There is one company prints PETG 122c! How do they do that? Brute force...
I have an older tarantula. I don't have the newer motors. I added a Nema 17 2A on my extruder. I believe all the newer Tarantulas use 1.8A motors(because that is what they sale as the replacement motor, anyone confirm?). For a 2A nema, my voltage should be 1.6. It was set to 800ma. By adding that motor I literally doubled my torque. Now think of how many tarantula users using the 1.8A motors are in my situation? Proper machine setup is definitely important to stop extruder clicks. But wouldn't it be worth while to have all that extra torque enabled? This is why Bondtech is the shit.
Lastly, in the video. It mentions doing this the chickenshit way because you can easily short out the board with a metal screw driver. Don't we own 3d printers that print nonconductive plastic? Skip the chicken shit way and do it live like a bawz.
