Odd Fish is a decal in the Velocity Crate... it is the decal that you end up getting over...and over.... and over... It basically trolls you.
So, to answer your question, no. I am in the right place.

I hardly ever buy crates.... but I somehow have 6 Odd Fish decals. Maybe I am just...... odd.
Funny because in SMB 3 the item isn't random. All those chest contain the same item.
You're telling me RL crates are any different?
Well let's say you quick save the game and select one chest and get a mushroom. Load the save and try a different chest, you will get a mushroom. The game already knows what you are going to get as soon as you enter the stage. It doesn't matter the chest you open.
So... Depends on how you view crates. I honestly think it depends on timing since there are weekends that give the player double painted items which can't be possible in crates that dropped weeks or months before this particular weekend if they are already predetermined.
It is a joke.... come on...
Zero odd fish for me. Until I used my first decryptor
It's random. It doesn't have any more chance to drop than any of the other decals.
