Game of the Year 2017 Battle Royale
Ten characters from various Game of the Year 2017 contenders parachute onto an island of murder. In no particular order, they are:
- Link (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild)
- Mario, with Cappy (Super Mario Odyssey)
- Aloy (Horizon: Zero Dawn)
- Joker (Persona 5)
- An actual chicken dinner winner (Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds)
- Bayek (Assassin’s Creed: Origins)
- A Guardian (Destiny 2)
- 2B, with Pod 042 (NieR: Automata)
- BJ Blazkowicz (Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus)
- Cuphead (…from Cuphead)
The island is 64 km^2 of varied terrain and abandoned infrastructure, with equipment caches for resupply spread out across the island. At the start of the battle the entire island is accessible, however every few minutes a circle is drawn around an increasingly smaller portion of the map and those outside the circle slowly die to some magical electricity field. Characters fight to the death; in the case of characters that can resurrect, such as the Guardian and 2B, they’re considered “out” after they die once. The last person standing gets a chicken dinner.
R1: Standard equipment.
R2: Endgame equipment, or equipment they’d otherwise have access to in the game if another combination is preferable.
Bonus: This has been a great year for video games, and this list is by no means comprehensive. Any other main character from a game that was released in 2017 (preferably a good one) parachutes down as a surprise contender.

I'd say the PUBG guy is going to win since he's probably very used to the fighting conditions. Besides him, I'd say Mario's going to win since none of them are wearing hats. He'll control BJ and then kick everyone's asses.
2B wears a hairband and Bayek has a hood. I don't know how either of those would interact with Cappy. Plus PUBG-man and the Guardian can/do wear full helmets.
That doesn't stop him from beating up those guys as BJ.
Until BJ gets hit.
Exactly.
