background notification service?
Please read my comment above, after uninstalling Messenger Lite, it still sends traffic to Facebook.
You are using android. It has built in facebook service.
How so? I'm using LinageOS with no gapps installed.
because you are using 2nd rate vpn. You need to get one of the 'big dogs' like expressvpn, or IVPN, or Private Internet Access..
i thought Avira is quite well-known....
no its not..
Oh... it is an anti virus suite VPN.. THAT explains it..
well the amazonaws, simply means the vpn server is ran on an amazon cloud server..
as for the facebook.... dunno.... its a singapore facebook server though.. ya... ditch the 'anti virus suite vpn'
they do more harm than good.
It's only you then.
"With an estimated 9.6% of global market share according to OPSWAT, and over 100 million customers, Avira was considered the sixth-largest antivirus vendor in 2012.[1][3] "
but.... you didnt ask about 'anti virus' programs.. you asked about VPN's... two COMPLETELY different things!!!
Which app are you using? Im not satisfied with ssg packet capture

I wasn't using browser at that time. Though, I have my Lite messenger installed, but after uninstalling it, avira keep connecting to FB. I did purchase for it and using premium plan with unlimited data and time.Proof

Thanks for the tip. I just paid for ProtonVPN. After using Net monitor, yep, it didn't send any traffic to FB or Amazon, been happy with this. :)
