Preliminary list of Motion Values from the MH:World Beta
While the beta may no longer be available to play, it'll still give us some insight into what we can expect for the full game. As these have been discovered via experimentation rather than taken from an official source like a guidebook, apply some margin of error, but this should nonetheless tell you somewhat about the direction the weapons are headed in.

Now, these may of course be subject to change, as other values have also been changed between builds of the game, but these numbers can still provide us with some insight into the changes to each weapon, and I'd expect at least a good share of these to make it into the full game.
Things to note are that most of the weapons that struggled in the previous generation got straight buffs, especially Switch Axe, which was one of the weakest weapons of 4/4U, whereas most other weapons had some of the power from their old "bread and butter" moves taken away to incentivize centering your gameplan around getting the most out of your strongest "super" moves when possible, which are often as strong as Hunter Arts from Gen/XX, but without the cooldown restricting when you can use them.
Note that in SA's case, the sword mode MVs include the power phial modifier, as it's currently impossible to verify how large the power phial boost is in World.
