Is Pink Diamond's gem… off-color?
Her gem is not "seem from above" as everyone, but "seem from front", like Rutile.

Yeah, we were talking that she maybe a defective gem or that when the diamonds tried to create her, they couldn't make her like White Blue or Yellow diamond.
dunno if she is an offcolor. she DOES seem smaller than the other diamonds but at hte same time she was child like and immature, and its implied gems are usually preprogrammed.
however the odd positioning of her gem is intersting for sure. dunno if that means she is off color. we look at peridot's gem most of it us under her 'skin'.
Her powers seem to have to do with fire, due to the sizzling sound when she stomps. She could indeed be a off color like the Pasdparacha. As red = fire. Not pink.
I didn't hear a sizzling sound? Honestly the stomping was one of my favorite moments in the episode.
But also, think of aquamarine and lapis. They both seem to have aquatic wings, but their colors are very different.
I think pink diamond was supposed to be red diamond.
Red, yellow and blue are primary colors. And white would be every color as the spectrum in white light. That would make white supreme leader and pink, yellow and blue equals, but pink doesn't fit the color pattern and neither is her gem shape as the rest of the diamonds.
