Jan Rukr is one of my favorite designers. This was the first of his pieces I did, and it turnes out really well.

He's an absolute beast. There are some tiny issues where glue tabs protrude over holes but you can trim those out.

I really enjoyed putting together the ejector port, where you laminate half a dozen pieces together to get really cool detail. I should've put it under a brick or something to dry flat, though.

If you like Rukr and want a project for the next six months or so, try his 1:430 scale USS Sulaco from Aliens. My build of it is definitely the coolest piece I've made.

Jesus Christ.

I mean yes that's awesome but I need to do other things with my time as well!

That looks awesome, well-done buddy.

Fairly happy with this as a first build, even though there's some warping/buckling where different parts didn't quite fit together. Also had some warping where two faces were joined together and the glue started to saturate the paper.
