2013 Forscan info
My buddy bought the antenna for his remote start since the truck is wired for it (2013 XLT). I can't seem to find the forscan module info so I can hook up and turn it on. Evidently there is also something you can turn in in the dash too? Guessing remote start settings like my 17 has. I have a full spreadsheet for my 2017 with hundreds of settings but can't find anything for his. I don't want to assume this year or that year are the same and jack something up.
Anybody got any Forscan material for the 2013's? Dealership wants $100 to turn it on.

You can find it all on one of the F150 forums. The dash stuff is easy, walking through the menu on the cluster is self explanatory.
But his doesn't have it turned on currently. Just making sure it is just a Forscan setting we need to change or if he actually needs a firmware update for the dash settings

It's not a firmware update. You can look ot up at f150forum.com or look on the Forscan site, the info is there as well.
Yeah i searched around using the forum searches rather than relying on google and it seems to be showing some stuff that at least corroborates with stuff I found yesterday. Same codes. "If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck" at this point I think
Printed the info that keeps matching up and gonna sync to his truck this weekend and see if it all matches. He still has to install his antenna and get keys cut so no rush.
