stems from a guys (u/dwimber) comment about making a subreddit about making up stories for random people. i commented that taking pics of people without consent could lead to some trouble, and that guy said users could submit selfies with a note MakeMyStory to verify. seems like an interesting idea.

ive never made a subreddit nor been a mod prior to this, so all help is appreciated.
