Do you rewatch season 3 as religiously as you watched the first 2 seasons?

When I was watching for season three I would rewatch some episode 4, 5, 6 times. My faves were David Spade, Nealon and Roseanne. With season 3 I've only seen each episode once except for the Jim Carrey one. Maybe enough time hasn't passed... maybe in 3 threes I'll be obsessing over each episode and catching different subtleties and nuances and jokes I missed...

I've rewatched Merchant and Letterman. The Merchant episode is top tier NML.

It really is, and I think Hader is up there. But Merchant is one of the best ever, wish he'd kept that form throughout the season instead of telling people they had eternity in their eyes

have you ever heard of the book "The Eternal Jew"?

I haven't seen most of the episodes even once and I already watched that one 4 times so far

I've watched all of season 3 at least twice. There's plenty of good stuff in there, but overall the episodes don't seem as funny or memorable as previous seasons.

That would be as unconscionable as agreeing to disagree with a holocaust revisionist.

I really liked Bobby Lee, but I haven't rewatched many episodes because I got tinnitus after Mike Tyson devoured peanuts with his mic on for an hour.

the tyson one has a lot of good stuff, captivating

I've rewatched them all except Jenner, Little, Cho, and Allen. Not that they were necessarily bad either, just not much rewatch value for me.

I wouldn't want to spend time with Jenner or Allen, so the lack of likeability keeps me from finding their back and forth totally funny

I forgot the Jenner one even exists

I rewatch seinfeld

As people have said, Merchant and Letterman. I've re-watched the jokes section of the Tim Allen one and I'll probably watch the Seinfeld one again.

As far as rewatchability:

Merchant and Seinfeld were the best in S3. The best, Jerry!

Todd Glass (edit) parts one and two were the nonpareils of S2.

Larry King and (edit) Fred Stoller are my i-ron men for S1.

So each season gave me two highly rewatchables, among the broader catalog I do rewatch.

Speaking to your point, though: Unlike previous seasons, S3 may have delivered for me actual non-rewatchables -- as I don't really care to see again Jim Carrey, Caitlyn Jenner, or Mike Tyson -- but that's ok. Even low-rung NML is worth seeing once.

No, not at all.

The only ones from Season 3 I rewatch is the Merchant and Seinfeld episodes. Either the guest blows or Norm seems tweaked out in most of the others.

Tweaked out? On what? How so?

I've seen all episodes of last season 3 times, except for Sarah Silverman & Rick Little episodes which I've seen only once.

The Todd Glass episode is unrivaled still in my eyes, absolute peak Norm

Not really. Ain’t got no religion, so I figure I watch season three a good deal more than the first two, religiously.

aftosenamiden•

Yeap. Especially the Tim Allen one

Yeah I've rewatched them all, my favorites are Bobby Lee, Merchant, and Carrey but they all have redeeming qualities except for the Margaret Cho episode

Margaret Cho ep. has one thing going for it--Norm's Jackie Mason impression

Seinfeld and Merchant are as good as any. Hader too
