[HELP] Moto G4 - no WiFi after security update
Apologies in advance as I'm not very techy so not sure what info I need to give here!
Had my G4 since March last year with no issues at all. Android version is 7.0. Yesterday I installed the December 1st 2017 security patch and immediately I couldn't connect to any WiFi network (home, work, on the bus, my sister's house). All other devices work fine on my home WiFi. Everything else working as normal on the phone.
I've tried resetting all the network settings and adding them back again - no joy. Has anyone else experienced this issue at all or does anyone have any idea how I can fix it? It's driving me nuts as I use WiFi for about 95% of what I do with my phone!

Hi scribble23,
Sorry to hear about this inconvenience. We may try to fix this issue by going to WPA2.
Below link describes generic steps on how to setup WPA2 on a wireless network: https://www.computerworld.com/article/2547129/mobile-wireless/tutorial--how-to-set-up-wpa2-on-your-wireless-network.html
We recommend contacting your ISP or router OEM customer service to help in changing the router security settings.
Thanks, Erwin
