Question about K1 income requirement
Hey,
Starting the k1 process with my to-be wife, and a question popped up that we dont have an answer to. I am the foreigner in this equation and she is the petitioner.
Important background: she spent last year from february 2017 to december 2017 with me in my home country, Finland. She studied for the year as I finished up my studies. She saved money in 2016 so she had enough to sustain herself, and pay off her student loans in 2017, while I would pay for most of our expenses.
The question:
Now she has a well paying job that she has been occupied with for the last 3 weeks. By her current earnings, she has no issue in terms of income requirements. However, seeing as she has been a student with 0 income for the last year in Finland, would this cause issues with income requirements in the application process? Her current job gives her yearly earnings around 65k usd, but of course she has only been in the job for 3 weeks. Wanted to know if this is something we should worry about?
Thanks for any potential advice!!

I was thinking of this as an option. I just find it interesting and worrying that some countries do not accept cosponsors while others do. Perhaps attaching a letter describing her financial situation with employer written proof as well would do no harm?

Okay. So in essence, using a co-sponsor right away would be smartest in your view?
