I wrote a 21 page guide to fundraising for the marching arts
Hello r/drumcorps!
Outside of running Arsenal, I work in development, which is fundraising for nonprofits. I took what I've learned from work and my arts administration degree and applied it to the marching arts, and last fall I started working on a fundraising guide to help students march.
It's not quite done yet, and I'm hoping to revise it more before making it fully public in the fall of 2018, but I've been seeing a lot of posts about students struggling to fundraise. Even if the guide is incomplete, there's still a lot of useful information in it, so I've decided to make the first draft available to Reddit. I hope this information can be of some use to our community. If you've got a wild hair to do a bit of editing, or if you have more information to add, please feel free to email me using Arsenal's website email service.
You can find the guide here:

Edit: Thanks for sticky-ing this! I hope people find it helpful; I'm now also somewhat embarrassed that I didn't take the time to properly capitalize the title.
