Let me know when derogatory slurs like "bald man syndrome", "long nose syndrome", "ugly syndrome", and "cross eyed syndrome" become widely used and celebrated.

Let me know when the subs r/hair, r/regularnose, r/notugly and r/straighteyes brag about their perceived inherent superiority whilst mocking those that don't have the same privilege.

Let me know when society starts celebrating these things as if it were an actual achievement.

Then we can start the comparisons.

the best comparison is maybe having a small dick(I won that lottery too fortunately) there is certainly such a thing called small dick size shaming and small penis guys have lots of reasons to be insecure about it. first because it matters and second just like with height it's a widely celebrated and accepted form of discrimination that no one seems to mind. call hillary lose and fat? people lose their minds. ask if donald trump has a small dick, base every conversation about whether donald trump has had a small dick, make major news articles about it and basically imply that small dick men and short guys are genetically made to be insecure and aggressive, have bad personalities etc. the more you think about it the more it becomes clear that the similarities between heightism and the way penises are treated are very similar. and funny enough both cannot be altered like being a fat slob(but there is an entire army that will ruin your life if you say the wrong things). side remark: also funny to observe how clearly insecure about his height marco rubio actually brought it up in the first place. but that's a different story. now I don't want to hear anything about the hypocritical left(saying this because it will probably come up) because that argument fails for many reasons. but again, the analogy is there. just check out the sub for it. r/bigdickproblems should be the sister sub of r/tall they have more in common then with us. social privilege

You can see if someone is short though. You can’t really tell with penis size. If enough people refer to you as short it eventually becomes a part of your identity wether or not you want it to. I mean I can’t tell how many times I’ve gotten “omg you are a lot bigger than I expected!” Because of my small height relative to my enormous penis size. So yeah not really the same thing.

congrats on your large penis. but ironically I think that disqualifies you frol talking about the issue. I pulled the death card in both departments and let me assure you, they are indeed quite similar especially in the aspects i mentioned. ofc tjey are not exactly the same, with height you at least dont even get the chance to get to know people, getting rejected for your dick size once you already got to know someone is much worse. so they are different but both are quite terrible and I would not wish either of them upon my worst enemy(well maybe I would because it‘s very effective)

I am fortunate in that department and have no idea what it’s like to suffer from a small penis so can’t say much there. HOWEVER, if you’re tall and have a tiny pecker, at least you won’t be discriminated on a day to day basis because you keep that shit under wraps unless you’re in the dating market, and even then it doesn’t matter until you get to the bedroom. If you’re short regardless of penis size, you will still face discrimination on a day to day basis and be presumed to be inadequate EVEN IF you have a big dick.

Disagree. Activism isn't because of whether something should or shouldn't exist. It's dumb to declare whether a movement is legitimate or not because they don't think it should exist. If there's people willing to be activists for a movement, in this case heightism, and they have similar arguments with a cohesive idea of what they want, then it's perfectly legitimate.

Short men getting paid less than tall men is real. It doesn't excuse ugly people getting paid less than pretty people. That's real too. If short people want a activist movement, let them. If ugly people want an activist movement, let them.

It isn't about the ridicule. It isn't about getting dates. Heightism is the pervasive social idea that short men are somehow worth less than tall men. And that belief infects everything else from employment, to culture, and to an extent, dating.

Disagree. They say it's ridiculous that there should be activist groups for people suffering from these problems, yet with other groups these problems DO seem to warrant activism. It's hypocritical.

bald, cross eye, long nose all fit into ugly, basically all he is saying is ugly people have it just as bad as short people. Which i agree with.

Heh except i can be dismissed as bf potential before i even turn around to face someone, at least if you're not as good looking but tall you'll get a few more seconds of consideration?

if you're bald they can still tell from the back of you ;(

Depends on what you're asking me to disagree with.

Noting traits like "ugliness" as a factor bigger then height is something I'd agree with.

That's something out of peoples control that can actively ruin a life in a way being short can't.
