Just finished reading AC Easyway for the 100th time

I have read and gone through so many one week quits with Allen Car's book. Usually my record is just a few hours without it, except for one stint that I went 3 years without smoking. As usual, I'm hoping this time is the one. That I have learned every lesson I can from quitting smoking applied the resources and tools from the book.

I have gone all afternoon without a craving. I generally don't crave very much. I feel a slight withdrawal, but nothing really fixes that issue so I will keep up with the quit.

Does anyone have any tips on keeping smoke free long term? Especially those of you who have quit using Allen Carr a few times.

This is my 3rd or 4th time quitting with AC. This time, the thing I've done differently is start some new habits like guitar, exercise, meditation and scheduling. Just having something to do and look forward to has been a huge help. I also re-read the book during the first 30 days (~a chapter a day), put all the money from the first thirty days into savings (said I wouldn't touch it until my second month quit was over), and did all (most) of the smoke-free missions on my app. You can do this. I know it, you know it, everybody knows it! good luck my friend and well wishes

Mr. Carr saved my life. He wrote the truth, all you gotta do is keep believing it. Any excuse you come up with to start again, is a lie. Like it says in the book, "Quit on the truth or smoke for the rest of your life on lies".

Smoking does NOTHING for you. You are giving up NOTHING. You've gained FREEDOM. Take a deep breath and celebrate your freedom.

Are you saying you tried quitting fpr the 100th time with the book?

It's a bit of a hyperbole, I have read the book more times than I can count in an attempt to quit. Beats anything else though really.
