What fleet cards do you guys use for fueling?

Self

Fuelman is a god damn pain in the ass. We only use it for a few gas vehicles but they are just difficult to deal with. No credit card payments, no auto-pay, we have to mail a check and it takes them a week to process the check once they have it. And we end up with like 4 bills a month each for $20-40 usually. They don't just wait and send one monthly statement.

We didn't receive a bill due to a fax issue and they shut the cards off. I understand there was a balance but no email, no phone call, no repeat fax. And we're going on 2 weeks since we mailed the check. They have the check but they take 4-5 days before it applies to our account and then we have to wait for "corporate" to unlock the cards.

Couple people I know have Wex company cards. Anyone dealt with them? I'm the treasurer for our volly station so if anyone has experience dealing with their billing and payments etc that'd be most appreciated.

We use Carson. It's a local-ish outfit.

We used to use Pacific Pride (yes, they are Fuelman), had no problems with them at all. We only switched because Carson put in a location 3 blocks from our station and offered us a discount. No issues with them, either.

I use Wex in my private business as well as the ambulance service I work for. It's an easy fill up and you can keep track of who is filling what piece of apparatus up quite easily

Can you set up some sort of auto pay or credit card payment?

My business does a monthly auto pay. I get email notifications as well as a physical log/statement.

A complete side note but my fire department has basically farm tanks for gas and diesel that are filled as needed by a local company. There probably is no real standard for the billing in that regards, but that is another option you can look at.
