Gamestop issue...

I went to go pre-order MGV at gamestop. When I entered the store I sold Destiny 2 to help pay off MGV. As soon as I asked to put the money towards a copy of MGV the guy from behind the counter started laughing at me. He said "What the hell are you doing?". I said "Pre-ordering a game.". He then asked me if I've ever played a metal gear game. I told him yes and he seem'd even more upset and said "hold on" he then went on the store computer to tell me that'd I'd be the only one pre-ordering it and that I won't be able to pick it up on realese night and then laughed even more. The girl who was helping was nice and told him to shut up.

The hate for this game is actually effecting me in real life. Like what the actual fuck?

tl;dr : A guy who worked at gamestop tried to shame me for pre-ordering MGV.
