An idea I had for incorporating the Teeth of the Dragon into my own campaign

Ilrim, Achlys, Lia, turn back now!

Having just heard of Matt's (Jim's) Teeth of the Dragon lore, I decided that was something I'd love to build into my own campaign. Only problem is, my players are in Ravenloft, so I needed a good explanation for why they might find the first sword there.

As I pondered the list, I thought, "two of the swords are lost....why shouldn't they be lost in the land of Barovia?"

With this as my inspiration, I think the names of the lost swords fit perfectly with the idea, and how I want to give them to my players.

During his conquests, Strahd heard whispers of swords of old. Swords of legendary power. He discovered the first, Scorpius, in a temple long forgotten, by chance, near a kingdom he and his forces overcame on their march toward Barovia. The second, he never knew of, for it lay at his unknowing end, in a temple of Amber. Uriel, the sword of dawn. Once trapped in the demi-plane of dread, his quest was ceased, though not forgotten.

I plan to introduce Uriel via the normal lore of Barovia, as the Sunsword, but force its location. The Barovian lore knows only that it is a sword of immense power, capable of challenging the devil himself, Strahd. I'll eventually let the players in on this lore, since Strahd will wield Scorpius himself, and they'll discover the ancient symbol of Ulluvinor on the hilt of both weapons. I may also introduce some kind of journal in his castle that would clue them in, or it may be on his person, I haven't really decided.

Regardless, hopefully this is interesting or useful to someone else in a similar situation!
