Of all the places listed the only places that they played at last year are Seattle, Detroit, and Los Angeles. Seattle I haven’t seen the confirmation of and Detroit and LA have deleted the teaser they had posted.

Interesting. I live in the triangle and thought I was gonna be making a trip to CLT. The spectrum center is playing the same video. Would they really play shows in both Raleigh and Charlotte? I’ve seen John Mayer do it, but I feel like Metallica is on a wholly different level.

They did Chicago last summer at Soldier Field, I would be amazed if they did again, although the Allstate would be a great spot for it.

Yeah, the local rock station here in Milwaukee says they have an announcement Monday at 8 am about a band that hasn't been here in nearly 10 years. Tallica was here last in January 2009. I'm guessing it will be a winter date.

I'm hoping for a double gig at Madison Square Garden in NYC. I'd totally fly overseas for that. Otherwise this "March Madness" tour of small cities doesn't really interest me.
But it's very cool for the American fans who will get them closer to them than before and won't have to travel too much for a show. Also, the indoor stage is better and Metallica sounds better in a smaller arena. I've been to the US stadium shows last summer, and as epic as that stage was, the somewhat intimate experience of the arena shows in Europe was unmatched.
Can't wait for tomorrow though.
