Metal Gear Threaded
Welcome to the r/MetalGearSurvive's Megathread to End All Megathreads.
This is where all community links go, as a quick and easy way to get to each megathread without having to dig through old posts. I will continue to add to this with threads both I and the community post whenever I can. Be sure to let me know if I missed any!
u/lordfiSh has an extremely useful and nearly finished interactive map with item locations!
Need to find some friends to group up with? This is the thread for you! And if you want more then check out our Discord on the sidebar. After you set your platform there (type "!team PC/PS4/Xbox One in #ai-pod), you'll get access to the group finder and multiple voice channels for that platform!
Got some tips you'd like to share, or want to see what you might've missed? There's a lot in this game they never tell you, come check out this thread to discover a lot of new stuff!
Wanna chat about something spoiler-y? Like that thing that happens after the campaign? Or that other thing that happens in the last mission? Well, don't spoil it for others, instead jump into the thread above and discuss it to your heart's content!
u/Ruyn posted a really solid FAQ for this subreddit. If you've got any questions that aren't answered there, then just comment and someone will try to answer it as soon as they can.
u/GAME_PRO24X has a very organized thread specifically for hunting down all the collectibles. There's some good comments in there with item locations, as well as a [link to u/fallouthirteen's nearly 100% completed container map.](https://www.reddit.com/r/metalgearsurvive/comments/801a2h/can_we_make_a_megathread_of_people_showing/dus8i9j/) If you find anything that hasn't been mentioned in the thread yet, be sure to post to post them there!
u/DidSomebodySayFIB put together a thread with most of the cassette tape locations in Survive, and it frequently gets updated!
u/fallouthirteen has the most complete guide to finding animals in Survive, including what conditions are needed for them to spawn.
u/fallouthirteen once again with an incredibly useful thread, this time listing every blueprint that's available in the game!
If you'd like to look back at what people were saying during the first open beta, as well as on the first few days of release, then go back in time with the two links above.
I've said it before, but thank you everyone for being such a great community!
