Who am I?
I am thunder and I am rain.
Precipitated by life's great pain.
--
I am frost and I am heat.
The friction in love's intimate pleat.
--
I am sickness and I am fine.
On surface, calm, below, turbine.
--
I am colder than death and warmer than life.
I breathe in and am breathless, of unending strife.
--
I am animal and also, machine.
I contort with feeling, and bleep, pristine.
--
I am black as the raven and bright as moon-glow.
I beckon the darkness and cling to light's tow.
--
I am glory and I am hate.
I am fury and I am great.
--
Who am I?
--
(What am I?)
