Sexybirds Up on Infinite

What is do special about these sexybirds? Why is this subreddit always talking about them. I'm out of the loop.

Get one and you'll understand. Just wait for the buzz to die down, like a month maybe. You'll hate it at first, but quickly realize just how many uses it has. Forehand, thumber, tomahawk, low skipping shots, big hyzers. Its just a great utility disc. I got my first one last year and don't think I'll ever play a round without one in the bag.

Meh, champion glow Firebirds are readily available in used bins across the country since they are always a favorite for local tourneys. I have 5 ranging from fresh to moderately beat and never paid more than $10. They do all of the utility shots you listed and I don't leave home without one in my bag.
I think Nate is great and I'm happy there are legions of people out there to snatch up every single one of his sexy birds for $30 apiece. I'll pass though.

The Sexton Firebird is just going to be a bit more stable than an Alpha. That's it. The hype is a combination of good marketing on Innova's part, Sexton's general popularity, his recent USDGC win, and bandwagonry. The disc does look and feel pretty great and I intend to buy a few myself, full disclosure, but there are stock discs out there on the market that fly pretty much the same without all the storm of hype surrounding them.

Keep in mind most pros have tour support discs that most amateurs cannot really use. I don't have a complete list here, but Ricky has the Dagger.... while his burst Daggers look sweet, I don't putt with them and most people won't change a putter due to a favorite pro. The Star Destroyer is cool and all......... I have two, I bag none. The Jeremy Koling Thunderbird is a little too much beef and I think overlaps with the Sexton Firebirds. I do bag a Jennifer Allen Teebird, a Sexton Firebird, and an EMac Truth because I can actually use those discs, they feel good in the hand and I get to support some pros. If Ricky had a Tour Fairway Driver, he would probably find out that his discs could become the hot item.
TL;DR if you are a Pro with a tour support disc, make it a mid, or a fairway driver that the masses can use.

lol honestly if flies like any other glow firebird. the glow plastic give it a slightly different flight than a champion or star.
pretty much its just the name sexybird, unique colors and the stamp that people flocked to it.

I signed up for the Infinite Stock e-mail.
Oddly enough, I got an e-mail before they went up on the site..... I thought I had missed the stocking........ and randomly hit refresh 20 minutes later....... bam, they were there?

Infinite has the ability to put an item up without it showing. That's how I knew they were coming about an hour before they hit - I saw a glitched Firebird under Champion Colored Glow in the recently added, and the max price of Firebirds jumped to $22. They were loading up the stock before making them publicly available.

And I am pretty sure that I got the last two good ones, so.......... poor everyone else......... I guess these just won't sell out. /////////ssssssssss
