Title: Where Sin Likes to Hide Author: Yours truly

Does it fester in folly while it sits in our homes? Feel it nourish our muscles and sleep in our bones. A disease you can see as symptoms arise, but sin seems to hide in plain view and sight.

Sin likes to hide in the skin we’re living in, building our thoughts and corroding our innocence. Sin’s like the wind, unseen and so clever. Did you really think you could live on forever?

Maybe it’s food that fancy’s your spouse. Don’t forget about sex, or delight in her blouse. We worship our pleasures as lust comes and goes, our sin likes to wait in both summer and snow.

Wretched and wrinkled from whiskey and wine. No you can’t count your blessings while you stumble through time.

Blush, makeup, and polish: try to cover your scars. The lipstick can’t hide our bruised and bloody hearts.

We’re hungry for power and prideful like lions. Using life as a chess board, pawns set up for dying. Sin raises our youth while preserving the old. Is there any reprieve from this curse we behold?

If you haven’t yet heard, we’re all destined to die. My sweet, sweet child; it’s just a matter of time. So ‘Sin Boldly!’ with the hour glass in mind. In the meantime, may you find, the lover of sinners, despite all your crimes.
