Fighting isn't as good as previous game

I honestly think the fighting in Skyrim is worse than Oblivion. In Oblivion if you get hit when your not blocking you get staggered half the time but in Skyrim when you're power attacked your screen moves around and that's it. Rendering shields pretty useless and I've never actually used a shield ever, in the two years I've had Skyrim. But in Oblivion any character that uses one handed weapons uses a shield. Also the ability to be knocked down, even though your character ragdolls still. Because if your hit by a giant's club your not just gonna get knocked down not just run away. And when telling my friends this they answer "Well your dragonborn," and I say "You're still human, if your stabed any where your not just gonna keep attacking them your GOING to have a natural reaction to stagger or even knocked down."
